New England Youth Sports Association Inc. (NEYSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a positive experience for young ladies ages 6 to 18 interested in learning and playing Girls Fast-Pitch Softball.  We accomplish this by creating a safe & fun environment in which to play the game.  Our League is open to all communities in the Greater Springfield area.

*10u, 12u and 14u PROGRAMS ARE FULL FOR THE 2019 SEASON*

The 5 to 7 year old program still has openings.

NEYSA does not assign players to teams. If you would like to find a team for a player you can either contact teams directly by looking up their information on our Who to Contact page.  Or you may fill out our Player Looking for Team form and we will try to help you by contacting any teams that have told us they need players.

My Friday Night Lights Prayer

I want to look towards the night sky and see all that is bright,

Yet there is something stopping me from seeing all those lights.

You see I’m one of those young ladies who hopes and prays,

That someday my diamond will shine brighter than the new day.

But please don’t think I’m after all those material things,

Because what I want doesn’t come with any strings.

I’m going for it all even if it means having to steal,

2nd, 3rd and even Home, ‘cause I know I've got them wheels.

You know I could care less about makeup and being dressed all nice,

I’d rather dive right into the dirt, to be more precise.

And my prayer is that I can do this even at night,

Because like so many other athletes, I long to play under those bright lights.

So I’m asking you, please help me to make my diamond shine,

We have all the new bulbs and a wonderful man who will donate his time.

He’ll swap out those old ones with those new shiny ones so swift,

All we need is for someone to give him a big lift.
